Autumn Steam is a self taught artist living in Salem, Oregon. She is an artist, maker, feminist, author, beekeeper and mom.
Autumn has always been creative and she learned to sew when she was 8, worked with clay (slab, sculpture and wheel) when she was 10, began beading and jewelry making at 11, paper cutting and sculpture at 12 and photography at 13.
In 2003 she started a photography business and has since branched out into fashion design, multimedia fine art, curating art shows and showing in numerous mixed and solo shows. She began her interest in writing art books in 2010 when self publishing and on demand printing became more available.
She got her first Bachelor's degree in 2004, from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Economics. She just finished her second Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Southern New Hampshire University and graduates in 2018.
Autumn loves working with all types of mediums.
