Take A Book; Leave A Book: Hazel Avenue Free Little Library
We have joined the little library movement happening all over the world and in our town of Salem, OR. Our library was made from an old shelf that we dissected, cut up and re assembled into this little shack. The door is made from one 2x4 and some 1 inch thick bullet proof glass that we got from SCRAP in Portland, OR. The murals were painted by Autumn Steam.
Please come by starting mid-July 2014 and grab a book to read! If the library is full and you want to donate, just come knock on the door and I will keep the overstock inside until there is room to add them to the shelves.
You can simply take a book and leave a different one, or take a book and return it after you have read it. Any comments or suggestions can be directed to Autumn at [email protected].
I would also love to hear what you ready from this little library. Keep me posted!
