Horrible Holiday Series continues this year with Santa Snack! This book features over 40 illustrations and is a parody on "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
Santa is overthrown by one of his elves, Mr. Green, and it is Krampus who saves the day. It also features the evergreen Yule, Chichilakai, Rudolf, Nutcracker and the Snowman.
Horrible Holiday Series was started in 2013 by Autumn Steam as 5 paintings. She was thinking how her expectations of the holidays always end up letting her down. So why not start at rock bottom. Wish everyone a Horrible Holiday and when it turns out average with a sprinkling of drama, it really won't be that bad!

Artist's Shuffle: An International Collaboration With Autumn Steam
The
Artist’s Shuffle is an international collaboration between 95 artists
and Autumn Steam. I mailed out blank canvases and asked the artist to
create a piece of art that I would later collaborate with. Once the
collaboration was complete the “shuffle” can happen. This is where I
will take a piece from the collection and mail it to another
participant. This is a project of creating art, making connections,
collaborating and ultimately collecting.

I Want To Mail You Art is an art project I started by submitting an image on Facebook asking people to mail me something. My friends and fans forwarded the image and I have received mail from all over the world. In return I have sent back original art that has included paintings, jewelry and journals.
The Rainbow Book is the first book displaying the letters, art, cards and stickers I have received in the mail as well as the art I sent out. Under My Pillow is the story of a boy who keeps all kinds of things under his pillow. It is based off of my own kids bedtime routine and all of the things they sneak under their pillow to play with after I leave the room.

White Lady Art Gallery in Dublin, Ireland, curated an art show called Green Eggs and Ham: A Dr. Seuss Exhibition. They asked artists to submit work that was inspired by Dr. Seuss. Autumn Steam submitted an interactive installation called The Unfortunate Zookwash. She handbound a 160 page book full of paper ephemera, maps, discarded blueprints and vellum paper. Then she wrote and illustrated the original story. When the book was displayed at White Lady Art, they asked artists and attendants to please write an alternate ending in the book. There were over 10 contributions added to the book in Ireland. The Unfortunate Zookwash made it's second and final appearance at Folk Yard: Fashion on February 15, 2013, in Portland, Oregon.
