This is a set of 3 large ceramic buttons I sculpted out of a medium fire red clay. I wanted to tell a story with this set. The first is clouds, the second is rain and the third is an umbrella. This set was carved then I applied underglazes in blue, orange and black. I then brushed on a clear glaze to give it a shine. They feels smooth to the touch. Use to decorate a raincoat, pillow, shawl, scarf, hat or anything else you might need a set of big buttons for.
