This is a ceramic chicken button I sculpted out of a low fire red clay. I used a variety of underglaze colors to make a colorful hen. I then used a glossy clear glaze over the top. It feels smooth to the touch. Use to decorate a pillow, shawl, scarf, hat or anything else you might need a set of buttons for.
