I am in the middle of making a variety of these little book pendants. This particular piece was given as a gift to a wonderful, inspiring and dedicated musician. This book is less than an inch tall. I am kind of into making tiny things this week, can you tell?

Under My Pillow - A New Children's Book By Autumn Steam

Excerpt from Under My Pillow:
"Under my pillow are the dreams I will dream. I imagine my fingers are buttons and I can order parts of my dream. After my mom tucks me in and my dad kisses me goodnight, the room gets dark and I reach under my pillow."

I am happy to announce the book release of Under My Pillow. This book was an idea I had after really noticing what my kids bring to hide under their pillows before bed. After putting them in their beds I will go back and check on them about 10 minutes later and I usually find them playing with the things they hid under their pillows.

This was a gift to them for Christmas. I gave it to them and my oldest son immediately made up a song about it. I am not sure if they realize it is about them, but they enjoyed the book.

I will be offering this book with a handmade pillow case (by me) in my Etsy store for $20 plus shipping.
